Fondé il y a 30 ans par le chanteur, multi-instrumentiste et producteur metal reconnu Dan Swano (Opeth, Katatonia, Edge Of Sanity...),NIGHTINGALE a évolué d'un projet solo goth rock à un groupe mêlant hard rock, AOR, metal mélodique et rock progressif.L'ensemble de la discographie du groupe a été entièrement remasterisé par Swano lui-même, avec de nombreux bonus à la clé.Sorti à l'origine en 2007, White Darkness est le 7e album de NIGHTINGALE, où les influences 70's, prog, rock et metal s'entrelacent avec des mélodies accrocheuses et une touche symphonique.L'album est aujourd'hui réédité en version remasterisée :2CD dans un étui cartonné avec livret 32 pages (notes + photos rares) + 22 titres Bonus (démos, versions live, rough mixes...)
