Si la musique de Zanmari Baré fait mouche pour toucher au coeur c'est parce qu'elle nous embarque sans fard
au plus profond de son âme. Sa voix un peu voilée est l'incarnation de son maloya. Un maloya tendre que
module un chant extatique qui nous promène. Après nombre de concerts magiques et un premier album
accédant immédiatement au statut de « classique » à La Réunion, c'est peu dire que son nouvel album est
attendu. Baptisé « Voun » en référence à l'humus des forêts primaires, ce second opus atteint de nouveaux
sommets. Epaulé par des musiciens coloristes surdoués, Zanmari chante les destins tragiques, la nostalgie d'un
bonheur ancien, le déracinement et l'amour porté aux êtres chers.
