Résumé
Le Western Swing est un style de musique populaire qui a évolué entre les années 1920 et 1940 dans le Sud-Ouest américain. C'est un mélange entre la musique folk rurale des cow-boys, de jazz Nouvelle- Orléans ou Dixieland, de Blues mélangé avec du "Swing" et joué par un orchestre à cordes souvent complété par des saxophones, pianos, et notamment la Steel Guitar.
