Résumé
Four Brothers est à l'origine une composition du saxophoniste Jimmy Giuffre enregistré en 1947 par l'orchestre de Woody Herman et un surnom donné à ses quatre saxophonistes solistes (Stan Getz, Zoot Sims, Herbie Steward et Serge Chaloff). Ce morceau est à l'origine d'une véritable petite révolution stylistique et rythmique. Dix ans plus tard les Brothers (à l'exception de Stan Getz remplacé par Al Cohn) swinguent plus que jamais.
