Fondés à San Francisco en 1981 par JOE POP-O-PIE, les POP-O-PIES du mouvement harcore-punk de la côte ouest, incluèrent les jeunes DANNY HEIFETZ et TREY SPRUANCE (membres plus tard de MR BUNGLE et des SECRET CHIEFS 3).Leur premier disque, le maxi White EP de 1982, fait l'objet d'une toute première réédition en CD.
