Résumé
The Wall (1979) Onzième album studio du groupe de rock anglais et l'un des albums conceptuels les plus acclamés de tous les temps, The Wall est considéré comme l'opéra rock de Roger Waters, traitant de l'abandon et de l'isolement personnel. L'album contient les singles « Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2 », numéro un au Royaume-Uni et aux États-Unis, « Run Like Hell » et « Comfortably Numb », ainsi qu'une illustration unique de Gerald Scarfe. L'album a ensuite été adapté au cinéma par Alan Parker, avec Bob Geldof dans le rôle principal de Pink, une rockstar blasée dont l'isolement de la société qu'elle s'est imposée est symbolisé par un mur.
