Découvrez la réédition du fameux album "The Incident" de Porcupine TreeLe concept de "The Incident" (le 10ème et dernier album studio en date du groupe, sorti en 2009) est né lorsqueStev "Il y avait un panneau indiquant 'POLICE - INCIDENT' et tout le monde ralentissait pour voir ce qui s'étaitpassé... Après coup, j'ai été frappé par le fait que 'incident' est un mot très détaché pour quelque chose de sidestructeur et traumatisant pour les personnes impliquées. L'ironie d'une expression aussi froide pour desévénements aussi sismiques m'a interpellé, et j'ai commencé à relever d'autres "incidents" rapportés dans lesmédias et les actualités, j'ai écrit sur l'évacuation d'adolescentes d'une secte religieuse au Texas, sur une familleterrorisant ses voisins, sur un corps retrouvé flottant dans une rivière par des personnes en excursion de pêche,et plus encore." Composé de 18 titres, chaque chanson est écrite à la première personne, tentant d'humaniser lereportage médiatique détaché de chaque événement. Les 14 premiers titres font partie d'un cycle de chansonsde 55 minutes, les 4 derniers ayant été enregistrés plus tard (et publiés à l'origine sur un deuxième disque poursouligner leur indépendance par rapport au cycle de chansons). L'album a été nominé pour le Grammy Award eta atteint le Top 25 des classements d'albums aux États-Unis et au Royaume-Uni. Il a été élu "Album de l'année"par le magazine allemand Eclipsed et Classic Rock.
