Résumé
Entre ballades folk-rock aux textes impressionnistes et protest-songs au flow vocal influencé par le hip hop, les 12 chansons de l'album « The Guest » ont été enregistrées live, en 2 ou 3 prises maximum, sur un vieux magnéto à bande. Cet esprit « vintage » confère à l'enregistrement un rendu photographique, sans fard, qui restitue fidèlement la musique telle qu'elle a été jouée par le groupe. David, l'irlandais de Paris, est un performer généreux, intense et imprévisible avec plus de 300 concerts à son actif, jamais 2 fois le même. Versatile comme les artistes de sa génération, il est capable d'arriver sur scène seul avec une guitare et de vieux synthés pour un set electro-folk-hop, ou accompagné d'un groupe complet aux accents folk-rock acoustiques.
