Résumé
Dix ans après la dernière remastérisation, un tout nouvel ensemble de transferts haute définition 24 bits/192 kHz des bandes originales a été employée. Cette remastérisation 2022 a été réalisée par Philip Siney, ingénieur du son de Decca.Des avancées significatives ont été possibles grâce à ces nouveaux transferts à cette résolution et à un ensemble d'outils de remastérisation plus sophistiqués. Le présent SACD hybride présente une sélection des plus grandes scènes de L'Anneau du Nibelung de Wagner sous la direction de Sir Georg Solti. Le livret accompagnant comprend des photographies originales de la session d'enregistrement.
