Résumé
Andy Sheppard élargi la composition de son projet largement plébiscité Trio Libero avec Michel Benita et Seb Rochfort, en invitant au sein du groupe Eivind Aarset qui avait contribué de façon significative à l'album Movement in Colour de 2008.
Avec les drones ambiants et les textures électroniques d'Aarset en arrière-plan, Sheppard et ses comparses semblent avoir encore plus d'espace à explorer.
Le Quartet présente des nouvelles compositions, des improvisations libres, une mélodie d'Elvis Costello et la ballade traditionnelle gaélique "Aoidh, Na Dean Cadal Idir" dont les trois versions enregistrées ici constituent l'axe thématique de l'album.
