"Step Into The Light" est le premier album du groupe en 16 ans et mêle à nouveau les mélodies du classique américain AOR des années 80 avec du hard rock exquis. La voix de Berggren est meilleure que jamais et l'écriture de chansons toujours aussi raffinée. "Les fans devraient s'attendre à un album de Snakes In Paradise au son familier", affirme Bergreen. «Rien n'a vraiment changé musicalement depuis les premiers albums, toujours le même kit de batterie et les mêmes musiciens qui jouent ensemble, ce qui en fait notre signature musicale, mais peut-être est-elle cette fois-ci plus musclée et mature, et l'écriture est également plus profonde. Nous avons mis tout notre coeur dans cet album et nous espérons que le public l'aimera autant que nous !»
