Résumé
En pleine célébration du bicentenaire de la naissance de Verdi, le ténor phare du label Decca Joseph Calleja tient son premier rôle principal à l'opéra en incarnant Gabriele Adorno, dans Simon Boccanegra. Le casting comprend également la soprano lettone Kristine Opolais dans le rôle d'Amélia, Luca Pisaroni dans le rôle de Paolo et Carlo Colombara dans le rôle de Fiesco. Le grand chef d'orchestre italien Massimo Zanetti dirige le Wiener Symphoniker et le Wiener Singakademie. Il interprétera le rôle de Caruso dans le prochain film The Immigrant avec Joaquin Phoenix et Marion Cotillard dont la sortie est prévue en novembre 2013 aux USA.
