The Jam est l'un des groupes majeurs de la scène punk rock britannique apparu en 1977. Avec 18 singles consécutifs classés dans le Top 40 britannique (dont quatre n°1), ils ont eu un impact significatif sur la pop anglaise. À ce jour, vingt ans après leur séparation, ils bénéficient encore d'une popularité persistante.
Le coffret Super Deluxe retrace toute l'histoire de l'album avec des démos, des prises alternatives, des session de la BBC, le Live at the Brighton Centre, et un DVD de nombreuses vidéos.
L'édition Deluxe 2CD reprend le tracklisting des CD 1 et 2 du coffret.
