Résumé
Une curieuse et excitante collaboration! LLYOD COLE, auteur compositeur anglais et HANS JOACHIM ROE DELIUS, le patriarche de la musique électronique collaborent sur cet album qui sortira sur BUREAU B. Ils ont commencé à échanger par mail lorsque LLYOD COLE a avoué que "SOWIESO" de CLUSTER était d'une grande inspiration pour lui. Des demos et travaux font l'aller-retour par email et petit à petit, "SELECTED STUDIES VOL. 1" voit le jour. Délaissant leurs instruments et méthodes de compositions habituels, les deux artistes composent de manière spontanée et la musique qui en ressort fait beaucoup penser aux travaux de Debussy, aussi étonnant que cela puisse paraitre. A part le titre "Wandelbar" qui est plutôt réminiscent de la scène noise, le reste des compositions naviguent dans plein de territoires sonores vierges. Un must pour les fans de musique ambitieuse.
