La réédition de "Regeneration" dans le cadre des 30 ans du groupe! Regenenation est sorti en 2001. Enregistré avec le producteur de Radiohead Nigel Godrich, l’album est plus dépouillé et plus centré sur la guitare. Le groupe s’éloigne du son plus orchestral qu’il préconisait jusque-là. Cet album comprend les singles Love What You Do, Bad Ambassador et Perfect Lovesong.
L’édition CD comprend 2 disques : l’album remasterisé et un second CD de titres bonus (Faces B, demos et prises alternatives choisies par Neil Hannon - la plupart totalement inédites).
Le CD vient avec un livret de photos et de notes écrites par Neil qui traitent du contexte et des inspirations derrière cet album et ces morceaux. hotos, crédits et notes de Neil.
