Résumé
Jouer Forqueray exige un dévouement et une concentration totale et absolue pour la partition. Ses oeuvres sont trop complexes et trop difficiles techniquement à interpréter parfaitement sans un travail et une étude approfondie de celles-ci s'étendant sur plusieurs années. Pour ce qui est de Monsieur Marais, le célèbre compositeur de la cour bien considéré, c'est une autre affaire. Il savait comment fournir au roi (Louis XIV) et à la Chapelle Royale une musique à la fois d'excellente qualité et facile à interpréter, à la fois dansante et explicite, une musique pour aider ses auditeurs à oublier les sombres abîmes et les malheurs du monde. Sarah Perl accompagnée par Mira Lange et Niklas Tru?stedt jouent ici des oeuvres de ces deux compositeurs qui vécurent à la même époque.
