Résumé

La grande mezzo-soprano Christa Ludwig fêtera en mars ses 90 ans.
A cette occasion Warner Classics édite un superbe coffret de 11CD en hommage à celle qui fut une des figures lyriques marquantes de la 2e moitié du 20e siècle.
Artiste incroyable à la voix souple, elle marqua, à l'instar d'un Fischer-Dieskau, aussi bien l'univers de l'opéra, de l'oratorio que celui du Lied.
Son nom reste associé aux plus grands chefs d'une grande époque : Klemperer, Karajan, Bernstein... Elle excellait dans le répertoire germanique et nous laisse parmi les plus belles interprétations qui aient jamais été gravées dans ce répertoire.

Plusieurs inédits et premières publications en CD viennent compléter magistralement ce coffret événement. Tous les enregistrements ont été entièrement remasterisés en HD avec le plus grand soin. Inclus un livret richement illustré avec une interview de Christa Ludwig.
