Résumé
Ratchell était un groupe de rock américain formé par Larry Byrom, ancien guitariste de Steppenwolf. Le groupe comprenait également le bassiste Howard Messer, le guitariste Pat Couchois et le batteur Chris Couchois, qui avaient déjà joué avec Byrom dans T.I.M.E.Le groupe a sorti deux albums chez Decca Records : Ratchell en 1971 et Ratchell II en 1972. Après la dissolution du groupe, Messer et les frères Couchois ont sorti un album chez Warner Bros. Records en 1979 sous le nom de « Couchois », tandis que Byrom a poursuivi sa carrière en tant que compositeur et musicien de studio.
