Après un long compagnonnage commencé en 2001, Susanne Abbuehl retrouve en studio son partenaire de scène Stephan Oliva et Øyvind Hegg-Lunde, l'un des percussionnistes les plus demandés de la jeune scène norvégienne, pour un projet qui n'est pas un disque de chanteuse accompagnée, mais bien un chant à trois voix. Conçu comme un projet collectif, c'est aussi une forme d'hommage explicite à Jimmy Giuffre - peut-être le secret le mieux gardé de la révolution qui fit basculer le jazz du côté de la liberté à la fin des années cinquante.
