Résumé
En 1974 Freddie King publie l'album "Burglar" qui marquera un tournant Funk dans la carrière du King et c'est autour de cet album singulier que s'est construit le projet "Our King Freddie".En effet l'union de ces deux univers, celui du Bues et du Funk, a permis à Same Player Shoot Again de se retrouver autour d'une idée commune : celle de refaire vivre cette fusion si singulière du groove mélangé au lyrisme de l'improvisation.Autour des titres phares de "Burglar", on retrouve aussi ceux qui ont fait le succès de Freddie King à différentes époques de sa carrière, tels le célèbre "Hideaway" ou moins connu "I Rather Be Blind".C'est aussi l'occasion pour Same Player Shoot Again de faire revivre des morceaux que Freddie King n'a jamais enregistré mais qu'il à fait vivre sur scène tel que "Ain'tno Sunshine" ou encore "Ghetto Woman".
