Janvier 73, Michel Sardou revient sur la scène de l'Olympia. Il s'est lancé un défi de taille en optant pour un récital sans première partie. Guy Guermeur conçoit les arrangements de scène et dirige le Grand Orchestre de l'Olympia qui l'accompagne.Enregistré et diffusé à la radio à l'époque, ce concert était le seul spectacle parisien de Michel Sardou à ne pas avoir été édité en disque. Il constitue un document unique sur cette période de sa carrière.
