A l'origine sorti au Royaume Uni le 13 mai 1996 sur Virgin Records, « Older », l'album iconique de George Michael, a atteint le sommet des charts y demeurant trois semaines consécutives et pendant 35 semaines dans le Top10. L'album a produit 6 singles dont 2 « Fastlove » et l'entêtant « Jesus To A Child », atteignirent la première place et les 4 autres dans le Top3. L'album fut un énorme succès commercial mondial, 6X Platine en UK, et Platine dans 22 autres pays dont la France, un record unique à ce jour.
Le magnifique coffret est un trésor pour les fans. Il comprend « Older » remasterisé à partir des bandes originales et pressé sur vinyle 180g afin d'assurer une qualité audio supérieure. Le boxset comprend également « Upper » pour la 1ere fois sur vinyle, ainsi que « Older » et « Upper » sur CD.
Présenté dans un double slipcase rigide, le coffret comprend 5CD et 3 LP ainsi qu'un livre de 48 pages au format 30x30, «L'histoire d'Older » ; avec le nouveau texte de Dan Davies relatant les anecdotes derrière l'album avec des contributions de personnes clé ayant participé à l'album, des photos rares et inédites. Pour compléter 3 reproductions artistiques au format 30x30 de photos de George.
