Les choses sont dites : une grande voix française est née !
A 29 ans, Marianne Crebassa, native de Béziers, études musicales à Montpellier, fut lancée sur scène par René Koering, puis « exportée » à Salzbourg par Marc Minkowski, selon qui elle est « une des plus importantes voix de notre temps ». Depuis, Marianne tourne dans le monde entier avec notamment son inimitable Chérubin des Noces de Figaro, et elle est engagée par Daniel Barenboïm, Esa-Pekka Salonen ou Gustavo Dudamel.
Cette voix de mezzo-soprano colorée et profonde alliée à une silhouette longiligne prédestinait Marianne à ce premier enregistrement des rôles de travesti masculin à l'Opéra.
Mozart est abondamment présent avec Chérubin mais aussi Sesto et Cecilio, et vous retrouverez également le Siebel du Faust de Gounod ou Urbain des Huguenots de Meyerbeer. Le tout entouré par le merveilleux Marc Minkowski et rien moins que le Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg ! Cet automne, on parlera beaucoup de Marianne Crebassa.
