Harrell Williams des Neptunes l'a d'ailleur surnommé le « Jay-Z du Sud des Etats-Unis ». En 2001, il était le leader du groupe P$C (Pimp Squad Clique) dont le dernier album comptait des featurings comme Beenie Man, Pharrell Williams, Jazze Pha ou encore les YoungBloodZ.
