Deux ans après son dernier album, "Chloë and the Next 20th Century", Father John Misty (Joshua Tillman de son vrai nom), figure de proue du rock indépendant, superbe crooner alternatif, chantre d'un style americana, entre folk et country, jazz et blues, revient avec son sixième album intitulé « Mahashmashana ». Après une décennie passée à naître, Josh Tillman est enfin occupé à mourir.
