Résumé
Le Magnificat, écrit pour célébrer la joie de Marie après l'Annonciation, et la Cantate de Noël la plus ancienne de Bach (Weimar, 1713), fresque bouleversante d'une Nativité, fondation d'un monde. Avec ces oeuvres magistrales, Jean-Sébastien Bach nous ouvre les portes du sacré et de notre propre rapport à la spiritualité. Ces pièces, parmi les plus belles jamais composées, sont sans nul doute la meilleure manière qui soit pour entrer dans les Fêtes de l'Avent. Mené ici par le très jeune et néanmoins si inspiré Valentin Tournet qui dirigera son ensemble la Chapelle Harmonique.
