Résumé
Le saxophoniste/compositeur canadien Andrew Rathbun est professeur de saxophone et d'études de jazz à la Western Michigan University à Kalamazoo depuis 2012. Rathbun n'est cependant pas du genre à se cantonner dans sa tour d'ivoire, mais il est actif dans les concerts et les enregistrements à New York et à l'étranger. Il présente ici son 10e album de leader sur SteepleChase. Tous les titres, sauf deux, ont été écrits par le leader, avec la guitare (jouée par Nate Radley) comme instrument principal, créant comme toujours une musique intellectuelle et en même temps profondément émouvante.
