Résumé
Fondé à Lima dans les années 70 par le percussionniste HECTOR FARFAN (LOS BETA 5, LOS DESTELLOS), expert aux timbales, cymbales, cowbells et autres claves, ce groupe, à ne pas confondre avec une formation mexicaine du même nom, et spécialisé dans la cumbia (ou chicha) et les guarachas se distingue par le chant exceptionnel d'OSWALDO "GUAJIRO" ORTEGA (LOS GUAJIROS, LOS DESTELLOS) décédé en 2017. Cet album recherché des collectionneurs, récemment exhumé et remastérisé, fut en 1985 publié par le label Bambú.
