Originaire du Sao Paulo, il a aussi été connu pour sa participation aux émissions jeunesse de la télé publique TV Cultura. Il a été récipiendaire à quatre reprises de Prix Sharp dans la catégorie "Meilleur album jeunesse" (l'équivalent brésilien des victoires de la musique).
