Brahms - L'Oeuvre Intégrale

Cette intégrale sera la première intégrale Brahms de l'histoire du disque et sera constituée comme pour les précédentes intégrales publiées par Brilliant Classics d'une proportion majoritaire d'enregistrements nouveaux ; et par des enregistrements préexistants.

Le travail artistique réalisé pour faire paraître cette intégrale des oeuvres de Brahms a été engagé par Pieter van Winkel, Directeur Artistique de Brilliant Classics il y a trois ans. Le génie de Brahms a toujours été largement servi par le disque, et ses sommets largement enregistrés par les plus grands chefs, solistes instrumentaux et chanteurs du XXe siècle.

Mais, à côté des oeuvres célèbres ou connues, cette intégrale permettra une fois de plus au plus large public, aux étudiants, aux chercheurs, aux amateurs, d'explorer l'ensemble des pièces moins célèbres, et constituera une documentation culturelle et une référence de premier rang. Les Lieder en particulier, et la plupart des oeuvres chorales ont fait l'objet d'un soin particulier et de nouveaux enregistrements.

Le coffret sera constitué de 60 CD, et d'un CD Rom bonus comportant un livret en français.
