Résumé
Dj aux côtés du groupe Portishead durant des années, il fonde avec Scott Hendy son propre label autour des sons breaks et Hip Hop.Les perles choisies sur ses compilations "The Document" et "Freestyle Mix" (James Brown, Major Force, Grandmaster Flash, The Meters, Omega Watts, Quantic Soul Orchestra...) ont marqué toute une génération. Au fil des années, il ajoute à ses compilations quelques précieuses touches "Nothern Soul" (BGP Rec.), ska, roots & dub avec entre autres "The Document Trojan" et dernièrement, une compilation pépite "Let's Boogaloo Vol 4". Ce délicieux parcours patchwork annonce et illustre la richesse des couleurs de son prochain « The Document Greensleeves »! (Black Uhuru, Sizzla, Wailing Souls, Scientist, Junior Reid, Augustus Pablo, Johnny Osbourne, Jacob Miller...)
