Sony Music Masterworks est fier d'annoncer la sortie de Got Soul, le premier album de Robert Randolph & The Family Band pour le label. Souvent appelé le «Jimi Hendrix de la Steel Guitar» et nommé parmi les 100 plus grands guitaristes de tous les temps par David Fricke du magazine Rolling Stone, Randolph a révolutionné le rôle de son instrument de prédilection. Assurément, Got Soul ne manque pas d'originalité. Produit par Matt Pierson (nominé plusieurs fois aux Grammy Awards), l'album nous fait voyager à travers les genres, depuis les titres teintés de gospel aux chansons funk et groovy, en passant par des morceaux de rock et soul incendiaires. Des guests légendaires font également leur apparition, comme David Hamilton, Darius Rucker et Cory Henry de Snarky Puppy.
