Après la pop sophistiquée de "UP" et le hip-hop avec "ON", ce nouvel album marque l'incursion dans les paysages électroniques.Réalisé à partir de synthétiseurs analogiques, ce disque contient des morceaux parmi les plus mélodiques signés par le musicien allemand. Les titres ont été enregistrés en compagnie de son groupe de scène et du claviériste Albin Janoska, avec en invité le trompettiste américain Theo Croker sur le morceau "Highline", un duo réalisé à distance pendant la crise de Covid-19. "GO" marque une évolution à tous points de vue, un nouveau chapitre créatif excitant.
