Identifié sous l'acronyme iDKHOW, le projet I Don't Know How But They Found Me, est l'oeuvre du songwriter, producteur et multi-instrumentiste Dallon Weekes. Maniant avec la même dextérité les instruments et les genres musicaux, l'ancien membre de Panic! at the Disco poursuit ses explorations dans 'Gloom Division', le deuxième album d'iDKHOW.

Produites par Dave Fridmann (Tame Impala, MGMT) et propulsées par le funk princier de son premier single « What Love ? », ses douze plages relient le rock alternatif, l'électro-pop, les trépidations post-punk, les harmonies néo-romantiques à des textes à haute teneur autobiographique. « La musique a toujours été un moyen d'exorciser ses démons ou ses émotions. Dans cet album, je ne me suis pas du tout censuré en abordant tous les sujets », explique Weekes en évoquant un ensemble à l'ambition artistique et personnelle affirmée.
