Résumé
Un an après la sortie de son album, Thomas Dutronc revient avec une version intégrale de Frenchy. Pour fêter le disque de platine, une version ultime de Frenchy comprenant le CD deluxe et un song book, le tout dans un coffret premium qui sortira le 12 novembre 2021. Dans ce projet FRENCHY, Thomas Dutronc rend hommage aux oeuvres des grands auteurs de chanson française dont les mélodies ont fait le tour du monde. Il y a invité des artistes internationaux amoureux de la France et dont il apprécie particulièrement le travail et les performances : Iggy Pop, Diana Krall, Jeff Goldblum, Billy Gibbons (ZZTop), Stacey Kent, Youn Sun Nah, Haley Reinhart. Aussi, de grands musiciens lui ont fait l'honneur et la joie de l'accompagner dans son aventure tels que Michel Portal, Stéphane Belmondo, Eric Legnini et Rocky Gresset. FRENCHY a été réalisé, mixé et enregistré par Jay Newland (Norah Jones, Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Johnny Hallyday, Michel Legrand...).
