A travers 10 reprises, "Elles" rend hommage aux voix de femmes et en particulier à quelques unes des chanteuses qui ont marqué l'itinéraire de Youn Sun Nah, de Nina Simone à Roberta Flack en passant par Björk ou Edith Piaf. Pour la première fois en duo, avec la complicité du pianiste-claviériste américain Jon Cowherd (Brian Blade Fellowship), la chanteuse coréenne a imaginé ce florilège de chansons par delà les époques et les frontières musicales. Un nouvel album au visage intimiste mais au fil duquel Youn Sun Nah reste fidèle à elle-même, à sa voix et aux sillons invariablement ouverts de sa musique.
