Résumé
A l'occasion du 100ème anniversaire du grand compositeur russe Georgy Sviridov Melodiya présente un album de ses romances et mélodies interprétées par Elena Obraztsova. « Chanter est un acte involontaire qui exprime le plaisir, la tristesse, la joie ou tout autre émotion » expliquait Georgy Sviridov. Comme personne d'autre, il sentait la beauté du style poétique et connaissait toutes les nuances de la voix. Il a beaucoup travaillé avec des chanteurs, parmi lesquels certains des plus grands noms de l'Ecola vocale de l'URSS. Cet album met en valeur le fruit de la collaboration créatrice entre Georgy Sviridov et Elena Obraztsova, une des meilleures cantatrices du 20ème siècle. Même si elle a chanté sur les plus belles scènes d'opéra à travers le monde, elle portait beaucoup d'attention à la musique de chambre.
