Un album contrasté, rock, pop et folk et des mélodies que l'on retient immédiatement... Dig for Victory est une telle référence à la tradition anglo-saxonne qu'il ne pouvait être qu'en anglais. Igor Stanislas et Emmanuel Mac Manus ont cherché ici le son, à la fois gros et subtile, comme savent le faire les anglais. Du rock british fait par des frenchy ! En tous cas la recette est comprise et même très bien, Igor and The Hippie Land signe un bijou musical à la fois inspiré et personnel aux authentiques sonorités acoustiques.
