Myung-Whun Chung et l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France sur les pas de Maurice Ravel . Le ballet en un acte de Ravel, Daphnis et Chloé, figure parmi les oeuvres les plus fascinantes du compositeur. Ravel parlait de cette oeuvre comme d'une «symphonie chorégraphique» : un voyage musical haut en couleurs à travers le monde sensuel de Daphnis et Chloé. Myung-Whun Chung dirige l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, dont il est le directeur musical depuis l'an 2000, pour ce chef d'oeuvre du 20ème siècle.Chung a toujours été un fervent admirateur et défenseur de la musique française, il nous démontre aujourd'hui encore, à quel point il a bien compris cette musique. Myung-Whun Chung dirigera cette oeuvre le 15 septembre à la Salle Pleyel, ce concert figurant parmi les cérémonies qui accompagnent la réouverture de la salle.
