Résumé
Phil Manca a réveillé le volcan en 2016 avec des concerts hommages à Gary Moore. Ici il n'est pas uniquement question de virtuosité mais d'interprétation. C'est une belle âme qui nourrit Dancing Spirits, un blues rock généreux écrit avec sa compagne Frédérique Arguello, où il est question d'injustice, d'environnement en danger et de la difficulté de rester en paix en pensant à ceux qui sont partis. Cette danse au pays des esprits n'a rien d'un disque du blues paisible pour les longues veillées sous verveine. C'est plutôt un tourbillon rock qui ragaillardit les défenses immunitaires et appelle à la communion. Phil Manca est entouré par Josselin Jobard dont la voix ravira les fans de Chris Cornell ou Eddie Vedder et une section rythmique AAA avec Eric Lafont à la batterie et David Jacob.
