Bien qu'ils aient travaillé et enregistré ensemble depuis le milieu des années trente, le pianiste Teddy Wilson et le batteur Jo Jones enregistrent uniquement en format trio au milieu des années 1950. Enregistrés à New York au cours de trois sessions : le 1er Janvier 1955, le 5 Mars 1956, et le 13 Septembre 1956. Milt Hinton, Gene Ramey, et Al Lucas s'alternent à la basse. La session studio du 20 Septembre 1954 est ajoutée ici comme un bonus à la fin du CD3. Au lieu du format habituel de piano / basse / batterie, elle inclut le sax alto de Benny Carter à la place de la basse.
