Résumé
Pour la première fois, l'intégrale des oeuvres pour orgue de Matthias Weckmann ont été enregistrées sur des instruments du début du XVIIe siècle et donc sur des orgues véritablement authentiques. Le choix de l'orgue Stellwagen de la Jakobikirche de Lübeck et de l'orgue Scherer de la Stephanuskirche de Tangermünde fait de cet enregistrement une véritable référence. La couleur de l'art de la registration de Berben fait que les oeuvres sonnent comme si elles étaient interprétées par un ensemble instrumental baroque.
