Résumé
Willie Buck a dirigé ses propres groupes pendant plus de 40 ans. Il est sur la scène de Chicago depuis son arrivée en tant qu'adolescent au milieu de l' apogée du blues de Chicago en 1953. Son album est seulement publié au début des années 80 qui devient un objet de collection au fil des années, réédité en 2010 en The Life I Love (Delmark 805).A cette époque, il a été décidé que Willie devait créer un nouvel album pour Delmark mais ce ne fut pas avant que Rockin' Johnny suive pour que le projet devienne réel. Cell Phone Man contient 16 titres avec une bonne dose de Chicago blues à la Muddy Waters. Rockin' Johnny Band est Rockin' Johnny, Rick Kreher, guitare;
