Natalie MacMaster est une violoniste canadienne de la communauté rurale de Troy, dans le comté d'Inverness, en Nouvelle-Écosse. Elle joue du violon traditionnel, le "Cape Breton Fiddle Music".MacMaster a tourné avec les Chieftains, Faith Hill, Carlos Santana et Alison Krauss et a enregistré avec Yo-Yo Ma.Elle a démarré sa carrière discographique en 1989 à l’âge de 17 Ans après avoir commencé à jouer de son instrument à l’âge de 9 Ans.12 albums studio sont parus à ce jour. Son dernier album studio datant de 2019. Elle nous revient ici accompagné de son mari, Donnell Leahy (lui aussi Violoniste). 2ème album ensemble après "One" qui avait été consacré par un "Canadian Folk Awards" en 2016.
