Résumé
Ton Koopman constitue depuis une trentaine d'années un point de repère majeur dans l'actualité musicale baroque internationale. En 2005, Ton Koopman entreprend l'enregistrement de l'intégrale des oeuvres de Dietrich Buxtehude, compositeur qui a grandement inspiré et influencé le jeune Bach. Ce projet, qui compte une trentaine d'enregistrements, s'est achevé en 2010. À l'occasion du tricentenaire de la mort de Buxtehude, Ton Koopman a choisi de réunir ces deux génies et de mettre en regard leurs plus belles cantates dans ce double album.
