Résumé
Hera Hyesang Park dévoile 'Breathe', son deuxième album pour Deutsche Grammophon. Comme pour son premier disque, 'I am Hera', la soprano sud-coréenne apporte une approche très personnelle au choix musical, qui s'étend des airs d'opéra célèbres de Delibes, Rossini, Verdi ou Massenet aux oeuvres plus récentes des compositeurs contemporains Luke Howard, Cecilia Livingston, Hyowon Woo et Bernat Vivancos. La soprano a enregistré l'album à Gênes avec l'Orchestra and Coro del Teatro Carlo Felice sous la direction de Jochen Rieder, et a été accompagnée sur certains airs par la mezzo-soprano Emily D'Angelo.
