Les deux légendes Jon Anderson et Jean-Luc Ponty ont combiné leurs talents pour former un nouveau groupe : le Anderson Ponty Band !
Chanteur original de YES pendant 35 ans, Jon Anderson a également une carrière solo bien remplie avec notamment des collaborations avec Vangelis ou Tangerine Dream. Superstar du violon depuis les années 60, Jean-Luc Ponty est un pionnier et un maitre incontesté de la fusion Jazz / Rock, comme en témoignent ses nombreux albums solo ou les collaborations avec Frank Zappa ou le Mahavishnu Orchestra.
Pour son premier album, Better Late Than Never, Anderson Ponty Band revisite avec une nouvelle énergie et de nouveaux arrangements certains tubes de YES comme « Owner Of A Lonely Heart », « Roundabout » et « Wonderous Stories », mais aussi de certaines compositions de Jean-Luc Ponty agrémentées du chant de Jon Anderson.
En bonus, un DVD du concert exceptionnel donné par le groupe le 20 septembre 2014 à Aspen.
