La chanteuse/pianiste/compositrice de jazz new-yorkaise d'origine coréenne Soyoung Park présente son premier album sur SteepleChase qui commence par une interprétation phénoménale de "Baker's Mood".Park a étudié au Berklee College of Music. Elle a ensuite terminé sa maîtrise à la Manhattan School of Music.Park a reçu le titre d'auteur-compositeur-interprète coréen au Yoo Jaeha Music Award en 2007 et a été nommé parmi les 6 finalistes du concours Mid-Atlantic Jazz Voice 2016. Elle a été demi-finaliste du concours Montreux Jazz Voice 2016.
