Résumé
Une grande tristesse et une grande joie, exprimées dans des airs et des cantates sacrés et profanes, sont les thèmes de l'album Bach et Haendel de Sabine Devieilhe. Enregistré avec l'ensemble Pygmalion et le chef Raphaël Pichon, il présente des apparitions du baryton Stéphane Degout et du luthiste Thomas Dunford et comprend les cantates de Bach " Mein Herze schwimmt im Blut " et " Jauchzet Gott in allen Lande ", ainsi que des extraits de la Passion de Brockes et de Giulio Cesare de Haendel." C'est peut-être l'interprétation la plus personnelle que j'aie enregistrée jusqu'à présent, confie Sabine Devieilhe, et j'ai eu la chance de l'enregistrer avec l'ensemble Pygmalion et mon mari Raphaël Pichon. Nous voulions vraiment transmettre l'idée d'une émotion humaine qui dépasse parfois notre compréhension et qui crée une musique d'un drame extraordinaire. "
