Depuis plusieurs années, Bundick a prouvé qu'il était non seulement un musicien prolifique, mais aussi versatile, laissant chaque nouvelle sortie élargir la portée de l'oeuvre « Toro Y Moi ».En 2011, le son funky psych-pop de « Underneath the Pine » dévoile un artiste qui est capable de créer des ambiances singulières, sans l'aide d'artifices. Puis, son Ep Freaking Out, une poignée de singles et remixes, son coffret rétrospectif donnent des repères au sein du spectre musical du producteur / songwriter talentueux.
